B. Installation:
Before running the demos for the first time, please install QuickTime 1.6 and Sound Manager 3.0 on your system. You may want to check your ╥Extensions╙ folder in your ╥System Folder╙ to see if you already have them. Insert the ╥Wrath of the Gods╙ demo CD into your CD-ROM drive and the ╥Wrath Demo╙ window will open on your desktop. Drag QuickTime and the Sound Manager from the ╥Wrath Demo╙ window into the closed System Folder on your hard disk (System 7 will automatically deposit these files into the ╥Extensions╙ folder).
Restart your computer.
C. System Setup:
Before starting the demos please:
Ñ TURN OFF Virtual Memory using the ╥Memory╙ Control Panel.
Restart your computer.
Ñ Quit any other open applications.
D. Starting the Demos
To start any of the demos simply double-click on the icon of the demo you want to view. To quit the demos at any time, use command-Q.
NOTE: If you have less than 4,600K of free RAM (less than an 8MB system), please do the following:
1. Copy the demo icon to your hard disk.
(They each require less than 400K of disk space).
2. Choose ╥About this Macintosh╙ from the Apple Menu and note your ╥Largest Unused Block╙ of RAM (or free RAM).
3. Select the demo icon on your hard disk and choose ╥Get Info╙ from the File Menu.
4. Under the ╥Memory Requirements╙ section change the ╥Preferred Size╙ to 500K less than the amount of free RAM you have. (i.e. if you have 3,000K free, change the ╥Preferred Size╙ to 2,500K). It must be set to at least 2,100K for the demos to run properly.
E. Description of the Demos
╥Wrath Self-Running Demo╙ plays a continuous series of scenes from the game. It can be used for an unattended in-store display or at a trade show. At any time you can click the ╥Interact╙ button and go to a scene that is interactive to demonstrate the gameplay. To return to the self-running demo simply click the ╥Resume╙ button.
╥Wrath 50MB Interactive Demo╙ contains an interactive section from the game. This demo can be used to demonstrate the gameplay.
╥Wrath 20MB Interactive Demo╙ contains a smaller interactive section of the game and a movie of screen shots.
╥Wrath Promotional Video╙ is a one-minute movie about ╥Wrath of the Gods╙.
F. Using the demos on another disk.
Please feel free to copy these demos for promotional purposes. To use these demos on another disk copy the demo icon and its associated folder to the target disk. For ╥Wrath Self-Running Demo╙ copy the folder ╥Wrath self demo╙, for ╥Wrath 50MB Interactive Demo╙ copy the folder ╥Wrath 50╙, for ╥Wrath 20MB Interactive Demo╙ copy the folder ╥Wrath 20╙. If you are copying the demo for distribution on a CD-ROM or other media you must also provide QuickTime 1.6 and SoundManager 3.0. These must be licensed from Apple for distribution. G. Screens & Description
The ╥Mac Screens╙ folder contains a description of ╥Wrath of the Gods╙, screen shots from the game, and a box shot. Please feel free to reproduce these for promotional purposes. The files are in EPS format.

I. Troubleshooting
Ñ No Audio Ñ
You may not have enough free RAM. See NOTE in section E.
Ñ Sound and/or speech is disrupted Ñ
TURN OFF Virtual Memory using the ╥Memory╙ Control Panel. Restart your computer.
Ñ Game crashes or freezes Ñ
Disable any unnecessary extensions by removing them from the ╥Extensions╙ folder. Remember not to disable QuickTime, Sound Manager and your CD-ROM driver. Restart your computer.
AV System owners: Make sure you are using the Sound Manager from the "Wrath of the Gods" disk.
Ñ Picture is off-center or "doesn't fit" on your monitor Ñ
Your monitor may not support 640x480 resolution. Apple 12╙ Monitors do not support this screen resolution.
